New to the collection, our beautiful Fair Isle Cardigans with a classic 1940s fit. Knitted in replica ‘Orlon’ which was developed originally by Du Pont in 1941 as a substitute for wool, it is free of any animal products. The Seamstress of Bloomsbury garments are made from the finest quality fabrics, featuring intricate and authentic designs straight from our vintage archive. Our collection is inspired by the work of our dear friend and original ‘Seamstress of Bloomsbury’, Lilian Wells, who made the most exquisite garments for aristocrats and royalty from around the world in the 1930s, 40s, and 50s.
